The Asherman Chest Seal™ is a trusted tool to address open pneumothorax (commonly caused by penetrating chest wounds such as gunshots or stabs), aiding in prevention of tension pneumothorax. This chest seal includes a one-way valve, intended to let air and blood escape as needed, while keeping both out of the pleural cavity.
