The Blizzard Survival Blanket is the new standard in thermal protection for casualties. This extra-large blanket wraps around a casualty and seals with a self-adhesive closure. It can easily be reopened for examination of the casualty or medical intervention. It provides total warmth and weather protection associated with the Reflexcell™ material, reducing shock and guarding against the risk of hypothermia in all conditions.
Reflexcell™ has a cellular construction to trap warm air, is elasticated which helps draw the material to the body reducing cold spaces and heat loss, and finally, silvered surfaces to block heat loss by radiation. It is completely waterproof and windproof. This unique combination gives Reflexcell™ vastly superior warmth to any comparable emergency product yet its greatest strength is that it can be compressed into the tiniest of packages and stored indefinitely.
